Good for beginners

Before I put fingers to keys, I read the 1-star review here which has been posted, and what they say has an element of truth.

If you ARE experienced or have knowledge of selling with Amazon, or setting up websites, then this book isn't going to be of much use to you. However, this book WILL HELP YOU if you are new to selling with Amazon; you don't know, or are unsure of where to start; have no idea on how to get up and running with Wordpress, hosting, and a myriad of other considerations.

If people have done their own research, or purchased other help guides, books, PLR or whatever, then you're going to know most of this. The point is, this is targeted at beginners, those who don't know these things; those who don't possess that level of knowledge - they will benefit.

As for myself... I did in fact know most of what Chris Guthrie had written in this book. For me, that doesn't matter, it didn't take me long to skim through it (I got the book on a free day :-); I also got one or two pointers from it.

The book is well structured, laid out, flows, and is easy to read; it will, ultimately, be beneficial for beginners.

If you know most of what I've briefly covered above, you may want to pass on this; if you don't, it's worth a read.

Decent book with good tips

I thought this book was decent. I order Chris's online training and it is very helpful and he is a good teacher. I think the downside of his strategy is that you have to choose high-margin products with alot of technical features that you can advise on as an expert. I think this Amazon affiliate strategy is a better approach for more tech-inclined people of which Chris is one. If that works for you, by all means get this ebook!

A Big Lesson

The question is not whether to buy it. The question is not to be angry the entire day for the
time wasted for something that has almost nothing to do with the title. I hate this way of marketing even if it makes money for the author. Yes, you can say, everything is intertwined, so you can speak about how to setup a Wordpress site and whether niche or authority sites are better. However, the title of the book is about how to make money as an AMAZON ASSOCIATE. About 2-4 pages (can't remember) are covering special amazon-related info.
At the same time it was a BIG LESSON for me. Be aware of downloading a free Kindle eBooks if you value your time.

Great book for people who love drawing animals and manga!

I got this book a couple of days ago and it was really helpful in drawing chibi animals. It shows you the basic shapes that are needed in drawing chibi animals. Once you get the shapes down, you can basicly draw any animal and chibify it. And at the end of the book it shows some video game characters that the author drew and added in for reference. Overall I think this is a really good book and I recommend it to people who love drawing animals, chibis, and love drawing in the manga style.

This book teaches how to draw super deformed animals!I never would have thought of it!Even though SD animals are not as popular as SD people this book is still good for a manga fan.

A Super Deformed charater is a manga charater with a big head, slightly chubby body,and cute looks. SD charaters are usaully know as chibis. Useully SD charaters are human but hey this could be a new begining of chibi animals!Mabye SD animals can be just as popular too!

The reason I gave this book four stars is it just goes over millions of animals until the book ends. I would have give it five stars if it just teached more about the expresions, and the poses and how to make SD animals in motion because they practiclly rushed through those steps.

Over I do recomend this book though but you kind of have to have the basics on expressions and body movement of SD charaters down first.So before buying this book try buying "how to draw manga Super-Deformed charaters Vol. 1 people" first then buy this book.

Not quite.

The cover of this book is a tad misleading, and maybe this was just my own expectations, but I under the impression the book was much like that of the first one, only with "super deformed" anthropomorphism animal characters as so hinted in the description. So just to clear some air for those who are planning on purchasing this book, it's pretty much just filled with extremely simple drawn animals and the anthropomorphic characters it contains are pretty much rubbish.

About the Author
John Berger was born in London and now lives in a small village in the French Alps. Most recently he has written the novels "To the Wedding "and "King."

Good read, unusual points of view

John Berger is not your mainstream art critic. He is an independent thinker and is nobody's fool. You may find his Marxist rhetoric somewhat dated and his references to bourgeois class even silly, but his style is strong, he's informed intellectual with whom you may disagree but will respect and, if you opened, will learn few things.

Berger attributes Picasso failure (assuming you know where Picasso had succeeded) to his selection of inferior subject matter. Being of Marxist's creed, Berger would prefer for Picasso to select his subjects from a set of social problems which will connect him to a 'working class', a nation, or a movement, rather than be confined to a personal expressions. He's OK with his blue-pink period of 'being a social outcast' and considers his cubist period as his best. He also finds the merit in his work of post-war years and sees his work in decline starting from fifties. His accusations are not completely groundless but are disputable. His astute criticism of cubism, its connection with natural sciences, quantum mechanics, its simultaneity of multiple views as a way or organizing information, these are the most interesting passages I enjoyed.

I like Berger's dissenting views as a stimuli for discussion. He will not bow to the overwhelming Picasso admiration and is not afraid to provides critique that alone drives our knowledge forward. I found his book interesting and useful.

One of the best Picasso books

This book offers a different view of Picasso's life and work. Some of John Berger's insights are profound, some are revolutionary, some are radical. and many are brilliant ('although I don't think Berger would necessarily enjoy my use of the word "brilliant"). If you are interested in the 20th century's most influential visual artist this is a "must read."

What's a genius anyway?

John Berger is a critic with a real sense of decency: never too high-falutin, smart and responsible. He asks us to see beautiful objects, not in their staid isolation in the museum setting, but in the context of social history. It is obvious that Picasso was a genius. He saw and drew things that evoke wonders and passions. But is that all?
The central essay here is "The Moment of Cubism." Berger paints a general portrait of a distinct era of possibility: artistic and social and political. The explosion of Cubism is but a moment in a larger moment of real revolution. Not just "ways of seeing" but ways of living, thinking, hoping. Berger reminds us that Picasso needed the times (Europe), he also, more specifically needed friends and support. After all, there were two who brought forth cubism; moreover, there were the likes of Cezanne.
Berger asks the question that is overlooked in the constant reverence of Picasso's potency (echoing Benjamin Buchloh on the "ciphers of regression"): was Picasso genius throughout his career or was that moment (historical and aesthetic) the real genius?

Drake Hogan is in Vegas to see his friend married. When Russell told him one day some woman would bowl him over, he laughed. He was a professional bachelor and quite happy about it. And then he literally got bowled over. A damsel in distress. What could he do but hang around and help her?

Lulu Lewis did not need any man in her life. She had Gramps and the two of them were getting on just fine. She just needed this stranger’s help for a bit to get away from some goons. Every time she noticed what a nice looking stranger he was, she reminded herself that he was like her last guy, a man who would always need more than just her.

A fun story action packed story of Drake, Lulu, Gramps hiding out from some goons. A Corvette named Sylvia and a headstone named Susie came along for the adventure. Not to mention a big goon with no sense, showgirls, diamonds and more. Fun read.

Morgan Lloyd Malcolm is a playwright and comedy writer. Her play Belongings was produced at the Hampstead Theatre and Trafalgar Studios in 2011 to universal critical acclaim and was shortlisted for The Charles Wintour Most Promising Playwright Award and the Whatsonstage.com Best New Play Award. Other stage work includes five Edinburgh shows, in which she also performed, as part of Trippplicate (with Katie Lyons and Verity Woolnough), Epidemic and Platform for the Old Vic and new commissions for Cleanbreak and Firehouse Productions. In 2013 she was chosen as a member of the Soho Six (Soho Theatre) and is currently under commission with them. Her work has been performed at many theatres including The Old Vic, The Bush, Theatre503, Lyric Hammersmith and Bolton Octagon’ and Trafalgar Studios.
